Take Better Photos with Help from Smartphone Apps

Cell phone photographers rejoice!  Microsoft is helping us take better quality photos.  The app Microsoft Pix controls the trickier settings like exposure and focus, so all that’s left for the user to do is point, snap, and marvel.

While Microsoft unveiled a unique product, there are a lot of tried and true photography apps that really help enhance a good photo.

Visco – Allows users to edit photos with filters along with more advanced features such as improving clarity, sharpening the image, and changing the photo’s perspective. This app is easy to use and is great for making little tweaks.

Snapseed – A really unique app that lets you make drastic changes to a photo. One of the most exciting features of this app is its ability to seamlessly erase things out of the picture, like a random object in the background or that nagging pimple that you couldn’t get rid of before vacation.

Adobe Light Room – The most advanced editing app for taking your photos to the next level. This app is very much like the real thing that the professionals use for their photo editing needs and it’s easy enough for beginners. It enables users to manually adjust things like exposure, vibrancy, and white balance.

One thing that there isn’t an app for is being present in the moment when an exciting life event is taking place. So while it’s nice to take a photo, it’s even better to be a part of the action, letting somebody else capture all the fun.  Here at Coverd we know how important memories are, and we’re happy to photograph all of yours.  – Written by Kasi Zlochevski
